BLEND THEM ALL - SHAKER STYLE

BLEND THEM ALL - SHAKER STYLE

Have a look at this beautiful kitchen, dining room and media wall designed and fitted for a lovely family, and home, in Whitecraigs, Glasgow.

As with many of our projects, there is always a challenge of some description to overcome. One of the reasons we continue to grow and get the chance to work on brilliant projects is our ability to work out the best possible design solutions. The room was an extremely long open plan space, spanning a massive 12.5mtrs from Patio windows to the original kitchen window.

The client had stipulated that the kitchen area had to be situated in the centre of the room for ease of use and accessibility, with the lounge and dining room areas at either side. Having got the go-ahead to start the design and fit of the kitchen we designed a massive 3.6m x 1.3m island top using this stunning Callacatta Gold Silestone. This was the largest kitchen island that we could achieve using one piece and as you can see is absolutely stunning. The hob, downdraft extraction and the sink (with the 100-degree tap) were all incorporated into the island which is great for ease of use as well as looking fantastic. We also managed to fit in the dishwasher, drawer packs, extra cabinets, and a breakfast bar seating area. Even some of these stunning photographs do not do the size of this kitchen island justice! It's an impressive sight!

Another brilliant piece of kitchen design (well we think so) was the installation of a Juice Bar in one of the alcoves. We built a  prep sink and tap for using the coffee machine and blender, without the hassle of walking to the main kitchen sink. Sensor lighting was also installed to activate when the cupboard door is opened.

The door used on this kitchen project is our bespoke made to order in-frame Oak Shaker Style. The shades are Cashmere and All White with the handles and hinges in a Polished Nickel by Armac Martin! All the appliances fitted are Neff ... which we loved working with. All plinths are mirrored giving the kitchen island the amazing floating look that you see here.

The Media wall which you can see below was, once again, a blend of Cashmere on Base with the backlit panel in all white, channelled to accommodate the Sonos Sound System. The client was delighted with how this turned out. We are pretty happy with it as well to be fair. Everything, right down to the handles, about this Media Wall, was bespoke.

The dining area had our signature Welsh Dresser, all open cabinets with mirror backs and glass holders in the middle. All drawers are Oak dovetail with soft-close 4D runners.

Overall I think you will agree that this has ended up being an amazing looking project. It's also really nice working with great clients, and we look forward to working with them again shortly.
