QUALITY ATTRACTS QUALITY
This was a recent install for a property developer in Glasgow's West End. The kitchen had to be compact, but spacious enough, to be practical.
In this design, we considered all gloss White, but then you need a contrast with worksurface, or space can look too insipid. Using a darker work surface can swallow all the light making space look small, as you focus more attention on the contrasting texture. After thinking through, we decided to use the Nordic Elm on the base units. With its soft light Grey and White tones and flat matte wood texture, this door looks great with a mix of White in any finish. With this combination and Blanco Zeus pure White Silestone from the Mythology Series, the area was looking stunning, We used the space-saving angled extraction system from Prima, giving the same functions as any extractor, just more head space when cooking, not forgetting to mention looking ultra sexy. Other features that help with space, include integrated appliances, keeping it handless and using an under mount sink with the stone, giving more task area and most importantly......LIGHTING!!!!
Overall the developer did a fantastic job of this project in under 2 months. They invested a little more for the kitchen and bathroom (by others) than they wanted, but when the property went on the market, it sold within 5hrs with an offer that hit a new record for the size of property in that particular area. Feedback from the estate agent ensured the developer, they invested wisely!
