This is the stunning Milbourne kitchen from the Second Nature range. Our client asked for a country style feel but not too traditional.
With the budget to take into consideration, we opted for the Milbourne door. The Milbourne is a painted 3D foil wrap with the look and feel of a solid Oak painted kitchen, just like the Broadoak Charcoal. The Milbourne is available in 7 shades from stock, including Alabaster, Almond, Chalk, Charcoal, Partridge Grey, Sage and Stone. There are another 25 shades to choose from in the "paint to order" pallette.
The Milbourne also has an Inframe version. This is unique in a non-timber door and sits at a very keen price band. It can be used with Blum, Hettich or Salice soft close hinges on mounting plates, but exposed notched hinges in Traditional inframe kitchen doors, is not recommended.
We used Solid Oak 40mm work surface with a farmhouse sink (not to be mistaken for Belfast). We used Corian on the island to give a contemporary feel when dining. The floor is modular uncalibrated slate, and the lighting is our state of art LED system with dimming and touch control.
